ここ秋田県増田町は釣りキチ三平の作者、矢口高雄氏の出身地である。正面玄関には氏の描いた絵が飾られ、館内では氏のサイン入り漫画本（もちろん釣りキチ三平もある）がプレミア無しの正価で販売されているなど、氏のファンには堪えられないであろう。入浴料200円という安さで、地元民の利用も多い。惜しむらくは、アクセスの悪さか。
