【源泉温度】55.5℃ 【成分総計と泉質】1,21g カルシウム・ナトリウムー硫酸塩泉 【色】透明 【におい】塩素 【味】なし 【浴感】なし 【温泉利用状況】循環 【感想】猿ヶ京にある日帰り湯で、猿ヶ京の中心的という表現が合っているのかは分からないが老若男女集まるにぎやかな施設だった。ゆったりとした内湯と露天があり、アイテムバスも揃うなど近代的なスーパー銭湯といった感じ。しかしこれだけの大きさなので湯を循環して使うわざるを得なくなり、硫酸塩泉の繊細なにおいは塩素臭に隠れるなど個性の消失はあります。まんてん星の湯ということでもちろん開放的な夜空を楽しむこともできるでしょうが、昼間でも山や湖がキレイに見えます。大きな施設でそういった非日常感を楽しむことでリラックスできるでしょう。

猿が由来の猿ヶ京温泉の高台に建つ日帰り温泉、露天風呂から赤谷湖が見渡せる。 敷地内のどうだんつつじ（満天星）が施設名の由来、夜空の星も綺麗らしい。 内湯はタイル浴槽だが、露天風呂（里の湯）は4人サイズの岩風呂が５つ横に並ぶが、打たせ湯は廃止されている。 巨石の配置や庭園のバランスが心地良い。その向こうに赤谷湖が見渡せる。 温泉は無色透明、加温 加水 掛け流し循環濾過併用 塩素使用だそうです。 源泉名 共有泉湯島 55.5℃ pH7.6 （60㍑浴室に記載） Ca・Naｰ硫酸塩温泉 弱AI性低調性高温泉 >>靴鍵コイン不要>フロント支払い>鍵預け入館レシート受ける>退館時返却> 脱衣ロッカー4段100円返却式 里の湯（和風岩風呂 ） 七夕の湯（洋風岩風呂） 日替わり 営業1000～2100 3時間650円 第1・3 木定休 演劇場でんでこ座（別館）あり 天和年間1615～23の頃から栄えた笹の湯・湯島温泉がダム建設により温泉地移転、猿ヶ京温泉と改名 58S33年相俣ダム完成02H141201日 ホテル跡地に開業 05H171001新治村は合併してみなかみ町に 13H251125火 初入浴

17号沿いの青い看板を曲がるとすぐたどり着きます。前々から看板は気になってたのですが通り過ぎてました。猿ヶ京温泉の日帰り施設で建物も駐車場も広く立派です。 無色透明のあまり特徴は感じられないお湯で温湯でしたが出た後は良く温まりいっぱい汗をかいてました。立ち上がらないと赤谷湖は見えませんが絶景が見れます。清潔感もあり、内湯も露天の湯船も複数ありほぼ貸切状態でゆっくり出来ました。
