本川越駅の近くで健康ランドを併設したホテル三光に宿泊しました。私の近所にあった健康ランドも数年前にすべて閉店してしまった今では、このような施設はとても懐かしく感じます。今でも地元の年配の方々には相当人気があり、ゲームコーナーでは風呂上りの人達がパチンコをして楽しんでいました。もちろんここは天然温泉ではありませんが、風呂の種類は充実しており、2種類のサウナに水風呂、ジェットバスや人工温泉浴槽等がありましたが、特に良いのが漢方薬湯で効果がありそうな感じがしました。早朝から深夜までしっかりと営業していることも、この手の施設のメリットです。到底、評価は天然温泉には及びませんが、このようなホテルも末永く営業して欲しいと思いました。

施設は古いですが清掃は良くやっている方と思います。朝風呂は5時からでバスタオル、フェイスタオルのみの貸し出しで館内着は付きませんが、525円なので安いと思います。いつも散歩の帰りに寄ります。

ここには15年ほど前初めて来ました。 当時スーパー銭湯なんてものはまだなかったし、ここもキレイでとても楽しかったんですが、久しぶりに行ってびっくり。 なんだか歌舞伎役者のような化粧をした人が、舞台をやっていておばさま方がとても盛り上がっていました。 こういう路線に変わったんですね・・・。 きっとこれはこれでいいんでしょう。 でも、こういうものに興味のなかった私にはうるさいだけで、しかも今どきの他のお風呂より高い1700円くらいを払ってなんだかとても損した気分でした。 お風呂も昔は薬湯がもっと濃かったのになんだか薄くなっていたし、打たせ湯も出てくるのは水。 どうしちゃったんでしょうか？ あの薬湯だけは結構好きだったのに・・・。
