阪奈道路から国道24号線を南に進んでいくと、1kmほどで左手に見えてくる極楽湯です。もう少し南に行ったところにあるゆららの湯は天然温泉ですが、こちらは白湯を使ったスーパー銭湯となります。 今回、ちょっと時間の調整のために2階の休憩所を利用しました。漫画がいっぱいありまして、なかなか時間がつぶせました。畳敷きで、ごろ寝できるのがいいですね。 お風呂ですが、内湯はサウナ、水風呂と続きます。水風呂は18度くらい。入浴剤入りのぬる湯は38℃くらいで不感入浴に近い温度帯です。モール系の香りが少ししていました。あとは白湯の主浴槽、ジェット系と電気風呂あたり。42℃と高めの設定で、塩素は弱め。アメニティはオリジナルでしょうか、ラ・フランスの香りがする2点セットでした。露天は岩風呂があります。こちらは前回訪問時は滞留するごみ類に閉口したのですが、今回はよかったです。こちらも42℃くらいでした。 冬場はなかなか身体が温まらないかもしれませんが、こちらのぬるめの入浴剤浴槽は気持ちよかったですね。天然温泉がほしいところではあるのですが、それほど悪い感じでもないので、楽しめる人も多いと思います。朝早めからの営業ですし、抑えておいて損はないかと。奈良公園や平城京観光のついでに入っていくのもお勧めかと。
