以前、宿泊し、大変満足した宿です。黒川温泉のすぐ横の田の原温泉ですが、騒々しくなく、ゆってりと過ごせます。 自分は初めて離れに宿泊したのですが、崖に作られているため、下に降りていくと客室風呂があります。内湯で泉質は黒川主流の泉質と同じ固めのお湯ですが、窓を開けて入れるので、前を流れる田の原川とのどかな風景は最高です。 また名物であるご主人がくりぬいた松の木風呂は入る価値あり。壁にはたこつぼ？が埋め込まれているのも愛嬌があってなかなかです。 食事も部屋食でバランスが良く、また温かいものは温かくいただけ大変満足できました。 ぜひもう一度ホタルの時期にとまってみたいと思っています。
