初の定山渓の湯の花に行きました。男湯が、和風でした。露天風呂は、寝湯と浅い風呂と三種類の岩風呂がありました。内湯に主浴槽と水風呂とサウナがあり、温度は、高めだが、露天風呂が、身に染みる、いい湯でした！

館内は静かで清潔ですし、お湯も最高です。色々な湯船があって、楽しめます。 無料送迎バスも有りますが、満車の為、乗車を拒否される事が多いので注意が必要です。

開場前に訪れたのに、駐車場にはもう多くの車が並んでいた。ここは人気の施設なんだと思ったものだ。大浴場には掛け流しの大きな湯船があり、やや熱く感じるが湯に浸かるとすごく気持ちがいい。外には洞窟風呂と露天、それに樽風呂があるが、冬季は入浴できない。 露天はやや熱めの湯船とヌル目の湯船の２つがあり、ヌル目の湯が長湯に向いている。崖のような所に建つ建物だが、露天からの展望はあまりよくない。洞窟風呂はじっと体を癒すには最適。ヌル目の湯が張ってあり、長湯ができるからだ。 ここは清潔感が何より。ただ、従業員のぶっきらぼうさはあまりいただけなかった。気分よく風呂から出たら、レンタカーのドアを傷つけられていたのには参った。
