平日の午後、利用してみました。入口のある母屋の両脇に、名前の通り半球型の男女別浴室がくっついた、特徴的な建物です。玄関で、おとなしいﾜﾝﾁｬﾝがお出迎え。入浴料300円(北東北日帰り温泉の特典で200円引)を払って、浴室にすすみます。12人ｻｲｽﾞのﾀｲﾙ張り内湯には、電気風呂のｽﾍﾟｰｽ有り。無色透明のお湯は、42℃位の適温で、少しﾂﾙﾂﾙ感もあります。続いて、5人ｻｲｽﾞ石組み露天風呂へ。35℃源泉の表示がありましたが、秋には一寸ぬる過ぎかな(ただし、露天があるのは男湯のみだとか)。平日からお客さんが次々と訪れ、けっこうな賑わい。休憩ｽﾍﾟｰｽでは、地元の人達の笑顔があふれ、憩いの場となっていました。
